Can anyone tell me how much water and ground coffee you would use in a traditional coffee maker to serve?

What’s better for office coffee, one of those airpot coffee makers, or the traditional glass pot?

I’m considering changing the glass pots we currently use in my office to the airpots. I’m told the airpots are cheaper per cup of coffee, and won’t produce burnt coffee. However I also hear the traditional glass pots are MUCH easier to clean. Open to all opinions to help me make this decision.
