Will mold grow in my coffee maker?

I haven’t drank coffee in a week and I still see a lot of water vapor and little drops here and there in the water chamber. Is it possible with all that moist air that mold or bacteria starts to grow in my coffee maker. If so, how can I clean it and prevent it?
