I’m sitting here thinking about all of the things that have been ingrained in my head growing up. If I don’t unplug all of my appliances the house is sure to burn down. Is this a strange behavior or does anyone else have this affliction?

Is leaving an automatic coffee maker on when you leave the house a fire hazard?

I think this question is ridiculous and I would never leave it on after I’m done with the coffee, but someone else seems to think it’s okay.
What do you think? It’s the type of coffee maker that stays hot until you turn it off even if all the coffee evaporates.
