I also used to have the Cuisenhart Grind and Brew, but always had that problem with steam getting up into grind bowl, making it a pain to keep clean. If your wanting to stay in the grind and brew style, Krup’s makes a good one. Link below is to one I have, but I know you can find it cheaper than what is listed on this site, try Amazon, think they had them for about $140 . Hope this helps..
Okay, grind and brew is a bad do! If either portion of the brewer goes down, then you have to replace the whole enchilada. I recommend purchasing a quality conical burr grinder, I use a reasonably priced model found on Amazon, http://www.amazon.com/Breville-BCG450XL-Conical-Burr-Grinder/dp/B000MDHH0Q?&camp=212361&creative=383957&linkCode=waf&tag=reviewsnratin-20 I am really pleased with it and it’s on sale right now for only $99. That is amazing for a conical burr grinder.
Now for the brewer. I really like french press and AeroPress brewed coffee. Both of these methods will cost you less than $40! Sometimes simple processes are made too complicated and in the end the quality of the cup is poor. Keep is simple…and delicious!
